10 Nov 2009
The Ernst & Young Academy of Business in Ukraine has earned Gold status under ACCA's Approved Learning Partner (ALP) scheme.
Gold ALPs are certified as providing high levels of tuition provision. In return, they enjoy access to a wide range of tuition tools, free exam results analysis and ACCA's recommendation to prospective students.
'ACCA has a continuous and very positive experience of cooperation with the Academy of Business in Ukraine,' said Nataliya Vovchuk, head of ACCA Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States. 'The award of Gold status is an important stage in expanding access to international professional qualification for Ukrainians.'
Stephen Shields, ACCA's global relationship manager for Ernst & Young and head of corporate development - Middle East, presented a certificate to Nataliya Kopylenko, the Academy's leader in Ukraine at a ceremony in October.
'The Academy of Business has been offering training in Ukraine for more than 10 years,' said Kopylenko. 'With sufficient methodological and teaching potential, we launched a new ACCA training programme in March this year. We are pleased to know that we were able to meet the highest international standards of teaching ACCA courses. We are honoured to receive Gold approval.'
